The Department of Pathology  M. Islam Medical and Dental College is a state of art department. The Department is involved in teaching MBBS students in the subject of pathology  from third to forth year. Latest techniques like multimedia, Projection microscope, Multihead microscope are being used in teaching students through large group interactive discussions and small group discussions. We also promote learning to students and other faculty members through Clinico- Pathological Conferences.

Department support patient care throughout M. Islam Teaching Hospital. The Department of Pathology has four divisions Histopathology, Hematology, Chemical Pathology and Microbiology. These divisions are fully equipped with teaching and diagnostic material.

Our mission is to deliver excellence in teaching, patient care and promote basic and translational research.
