The purpose of undergraduate medical education is to produce competent professionals who can work in diverse cultural settings, at primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare levels, both nationally and internationally.

M. Islam Medical and Dental College, Gujranwala is one such medical college with a very strong focus on training, research, and mentorship.

The college with its robust teaching and learning program, focused on outcome-based, research-intensive, community-oriented, and student-centered approach, aims to groom students into well rounded medical professionals.
