On behalf of the management and faculty of M. Isam College of Pharmacy (MICP), I warmly welcome you all to the profession of Pharmacy and family of Pharmacists. You have chosen one the best profession which is recognized as “Pharmacy a Life Saving Profession” in the world serving the humanity for their “Better Quality of Life through Pharmacist”.
MICP is an affiliated college of University of Punjab which is a well know and well recognized in world as one of the best and oldest university offering Pharmacy in Pakistan similarly MICP is the pioneer institution providing Pharmacy education in Gujranwala Division. I extend heartiest congratulations to the students on your selection and joining MICP. Senior and well-trained faculty is present to provide you knowledge and practical training. In MICP We aim to educate you with latest developments in the field of Pharmacy along with professional grooming, our target is not only to produce a graduate Pharmacist also professional who qualifies the practical demand in all professional fields of profession of pharmacy including industrial, retail, hospital, clinical, regulatory and academia and are able to meet the challenges and can cater needs of the society in a befitting manner.
Pharmacy is a noble profession and Pharmacist are an integral part of health care team, plays a pivotal role in providing a safe and efficacious medicines to the community. Updated learning techniques are being applied to educate the students. MICP has a purpose-built building of the college with state of arts facilities, lecture halls are fully equipped with audio visual arrangements and air conditioning, similarly our labs have latest instruments and equipment to provided practical training to the students, fully equipped library with latest books, computer lab, cafeteria and hostel facilities for boys and girls, transportation facilities are provided, all around a conducive and inspiring environment is available.
In addition to academic activities, extra-curricular and sports activities are given due importance and are regular feature. Industrial tour of students to different well know pharmaceutical industries, hospital and clinical training are arranged in attached hospitals and retail pharmacy training are arranged in well know pharmacies. Our organization has its own 550 bedded Tertiary Care hospital and pharmaceutical industry, Grand Asian University, Sialkot and group of colleges which is a source of Inter-Professional Education as well and provide wide exposure to the students during their stay in the college and course of study.
